If I am raising boys, I can raise cucumbers...

Holden Sheriff enjoys some outside time. Food for thought: Today, children spend less than thirty-minutes a week outside engaged in unstructured play. Clear your calendar and get outdoors!
I have a good friend who has a green thumb.  She parents as well as she prunes- quite honestly, it's intimidating. The parenting thing I must admit I am starting to get the hang of.... the cucumbers- not so much.  In an effort to teach my kids where their food comes from, we are starting a family garden. Tomorrow for Mother's Day my husband, Jason, and my three boys, Charlie, Matt and Holden, will build their mama a garden...the rest is up to me and Mother Nature (I hope she knows what she is doing)!  I figure if I can raise three little boys with minimal bumps and bruises, my vegetables should fair the same.  Here's to raising kids and cucumbers- this veggie tale is about to begin!

  1. You truly can do ANYTHING Meg! Look at all the things you've done - just in the last few years since we met! Those cucumbers and those precious boys are blessed to have you raising them!!!
